Complete one moon observation a night on the moon calendar (Sat. and Sun. are optional).  Observations can be made either at night or occassionally in the morning.  Return your journal EVERY FRIDAY! If live observations are not possible you may go to the following websites with an adult to obtain information to complete your journal:

Reading:

 

Read every single night!  Keep track of how many books your read! Fill out the "30 Book Challenge" after each book you read.

ES Exceptional at grade level standard
P Meets the grade-level standard by demonstrating proficiency of the content or processes.
I In progress toward meeting the grade-level standard
N

Not yet making progress or making minimal progress toward meeting the grade-level standard

 

Graded work will come home in the red take home folder.  The score will be written as a fraction:

What the student earned/the highest possible score

 

Example: P/ES means the student earned a P on the assessment and is meeting the grade level standard
