Tennis Intramurals

Fall Intramurals this year is tennis.  This is an after school program for 6th, 7th, & 8th grade students beginning Tuesday, September 20th  from 3-4 PM.   The program will be held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays and an activity bus will be provided.   Students will need a signed permission form and have paid their activity fee ($30) to MCPS.  This information can be picked up in either the boys or girls locker room.  Any questions or concerns should be directed to Mrs. Tao at 301-469-1150.

Basketball Tryouts

Attention 7th and 8th graders interested in trying out for the CJMS Basketball Teams.  Coaches Unger and Brandt had their informational meetings this past week.  All paperwork needed for tryouts can be found on the CJMS website and must be turned in prior to the first day of tryouts.  The Girls’ Basketball Team tryouts will be held on Wednesday, November 16, Thursday, November 17th and Tuesday, November 22nd.  The Boys’ Basketball Team tryouts will be on Tuesday, November 29th, Wednesday, November 30th, and Thursday, December 1st.

Required Forms:
All students are required to have a parent permission slip, medical card and a health evaluation signed by a doctor (they are good for 2 years). Students CANNOT try out without these forms in the hands of the coaches at the time they tryout. The deadline to submit these forms for tryouts is November 14 at 3:05pm.

In order to tryout students must have a Health Evaluation (signed by a doctor and parent or have one already on file at CJMS), a parent permission slip (signed by a parent) and a medical card (signed by a parent).  These three forms can be accessed below or obtained in the locker room at CJMS .
