About this Assignment
This year, the English 7 final project for A Midsummer Night’s Dream had as one of its choices the option to record a podcast. Several groups chose this option and wrote scripts that explored either a theme of the play or examined some of the characters and their motivations. Some students developed interviews of characters from the play. The students demonstrated tremendous creativity with this project and did a great job of staying true to the text while adding in modern twists of their own. As you listen, note the use of actual lines from the play embedded in the modern conversations. We’re very proud of these students’ efforts, and we look forward to continuing our 7th grade podcasting program next year!
