WHY READ: It was about a 23-year-old boy who lives in the ghetto and gets in trouble with the law a lot.

SUMMARY: A boy who lives in the projects in Chicago gets in trouble with the law a lot! His mother is very concerned about LeRoy and what might happen if he keeps up this behavior. So, she decides to send him to live with his grandfather. Surprisingly, he likes the different, but more easygoing life style. After LeRoy's stay with his grandfather, he is a changed better person.

WHY LIKE: Yes. I loved this book. I couldn't put it down.

CHARACTERS: LeRoy, His grandfather, LeRoy's mother, and the gang, “the Wolves.”

WHY GOOD: It is just my kind of book.

RECOMMENDATION: Fantastic
