The Math Team is open to ALL students, regardless of ability. We meet every other Wednesday in room 2109, during regular after-school activity hours with our next November 9th.
Currently we have over 15 Team Members, from 6th grade Math A through 8th grade Honors Geometry students. Come have fun with math!
We have four math meets at different middle schools throughout the school year. Our first meet is November 16th! We practice complex math problems that apply the skills you are learning or have learned in your math classes. There are three sections to each meet: a team section, where you solve problems with five of your teammates; a relay section, where you solve one piece of the problem and your teammates solve the other pieces; and an individual section.
