Pick a Toy
In this activity you
will select an age appropriate toy for a child. The child should
be either an infant, toddler or preschooler. Complete the first side of
the worksheet, Toy
Selection Organizer. Use
the Web sites below to collect information about how children play.
After determining
how children play, go to the toy store sites below to select TWO
toys which are age appropriate. The toys you select must meet the
child's needs intellectually, physically, and socially. Justify
your choice in the answer to the last question. Complete the second
side of your worksheet, Toy
Recommendations.
