The last 100 years has been a
period of unparalleled achievements in science, medicine,
human rights, and more. In this activity, students will
identify key figures in 20th century progress and then
document the life and times of each in PowerPoint
presentation. One exciting way to look at history
is by studying the people who shaped it. In this activity,
you and each of your classmates will choose an individual
who made the world a better place during the 20th century.
In your presentation, you'll combine information about their
lives, accomplishments, and the historical events that
influenced their work.

like to learn more about. (No sports figures
please). 2. Sign

choice on the "sign up" sheet posted in the classroom. This
list is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Only one student
