Media Center! Drop in often for news about the Media
Program!
Kindergarten is
researching animals and their habitats. They are using "AGOPP"
to learn about creatures such as snakes, giraffes elephants and
polar bears.
First Grade
is finishing a research project about weather. They are
using "AGOPP" to gather information about various types of weather.
Then they use PowerPoint to produce a slideshow.
Second grade is
doing a biography research project. They
use "AGOPP" to learn the characteristics of famous people. The activity
culminates with a PowerPoint presentation, as well as a "Wax
Museum", where the students will pretend to be their famous person
and share their life story to other students in different grades.

Third Grade
celebrated Women's History Month by researching famous females.
They created timelines of their lives using a cool program called
Timeliner.
Fourth Grade
just completed their Native American research project. After
they gather their information, they write a first person journal
entry, describing a typical day in the life of their tribe.
Fifth Grade is
researching solar energy as part of their Science curriculum.
They will create a pamphlet on Microsoft Publisher that encourages
the benefits and use of solar energy.
