Dr. Campbell 

Principal’s Profile

Dr. Campbell is the principal of Briggs Chaney Middle School. She graduated from Howard University with a B.A. in English and a M.Ed. in Administration and Supervision. She completed her Doctoral Studies from Johns Hopkins University. Her dissertation study focused on adolescent literacy.

Dr. Campbell has worked for Montgomery County Public Schools for more than 20 years. She has served as an English teacher, staff development teacher, and an assistant principal. In addition, she has served as an interim principal in the District of Columbia and as an adjunct professor at Johns Hopkins.

Dr. Campbell was born in Tennessee and grew up in Upstate New York.  She enjoys reading, writing and musical theatre. She is the proud mother of two children.
