I have taught at Blake High school since it opened 10 years ago. I was a Special Education Teacher and then the Resource Teacher in Special Education before switching to teach Cooperative Work Education and On the Job Training. Five years ago I started teaching the Cooperative Work Education and On the Job Training Programs here at Blake. Before coming to Blake I taught at Paint Branch High School for 6 years. I attended Kutztown University in Pennsylvania majoring in Special Education and Elementary Education. I received my Master's Degree in School Counseling from Johns Hopkins University. I enjoy helping students become more independent by teaching them work skills that will help them in their lives for years to come.
When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my two children, ages 2 and 6, my husband and my black lab.
