Outstanding High School Technology Education Teacher of Excellence Award goes to Blake High School Teacher

 

The executive committee of the Technology Education Association of Maryland (TEAM) announced that Raquel Marshall, Blake High School technology and engineering teacher, is the recipient of the 2006 Outstanding High School Technology Education Teacher of Excellence Award.

The purpose of TEAM is the uniting of Technology Education professionals in a nonprofit organization dedicated to the improvement of Technology Education in the state of Maryland. The TEAM Executive Board is comprised of elected teachers and administrators from across the state.

Raquel Marshall is also the recent recipient of Montgomery County Public School “Career and Technology Teacher Excellence Award” and the Leadership Award from the Education Technology Think Tank and the Congressional Black Caucus Education Braintrust.

 

Ms. Marshall will be honored at the 2006 TEAM Awards of Excellence ceremony on Thursday, October 19 th at La Fountain Blue in Glen Burnie. Ms Marshall’s accomplishments will also be recognized at the 2007 International TechnologyEducation Association Conference, which is being held in San Antonio, Texas on March 15-17, 2007
