BLAKE STUDENTS RECOGNIZED WITH ARTS & HUMANITIES AWARDS

James Hubert Blake High School’s Annual Festival of the Arts and Humanities was held on Friday May 18. The second annual Blake Art Awards were presented to students whose work excelled in creativity and achievement. The following students were honored for their work:

Visual Arts: Cedric Hope

Theatre Arts: Jessica Baker and Sean McComas

Dance Arts: Blair D’Amico

Choral Arts: Amanda Perlman

Media Arts: Joe Del Balzo

Instrumental Music: Matt Gallo

The event also highlighted student accomplishments in visual arts, media arts, choral music, instrumental music, theatre, and dance as well as showcases for the social studies and foreign language departments.
