Blake High School teachers selected by Maryland Public School for PRIDE 

Two James Hubert Blake High School teachers were selected by the Maryland State Department of Education to receive the PRIDE certificate and be featured on the Maryland Public Schools website www.marylandpublicschools.org.

Barbara Jeweler and Raquel Marshall were chosen for their accomplishments in utilizing technology which resulted in their receiving Leadership Awards from the Congressional Black Caucus Education Braintrust and the Education Technology Think Tank.

PRIDE is a new statewide initiative to honor outstanding accomplishments taking place in Maryland public schools by students, faculty, parents, schools and community members.  Once selected a “PRIDE profile” or success story will appear on the web site may appear in publications and materials so that others will be informed and encouraged.
