RENAISSANCE ASSEMBLY
Wednesday November 21
4th period
Students who made the Honor Roll during the 4th Marking Period of last
school year, increased GPA from 3rd to 4th Quarter, or had Perfect
Attendance for the 2nd semester are all invited to attend. 9th
Graders who made the Honor Roll for the 1st Quarter are also invited.
ALL A's DINNER
Tuesday November 27
6:00 - 8:00 pm in the school cafeteria
Renaissance is sponsoring a dinner for students and their families
who earn ALL A's for the 1st Marking Period FREE OF CHARGE . This
will be a night in which to recognize and honor the students'
OUTSTANDING ACCOMPLISHMENTS. Invitations will be given to the
students DURING school the week of November 12th.

Celebrity Dinner
Thursday, December 6th 5:30 -8pm
The Bengal Renaissance Program is hosting our 1st Annual Celebrity Waiter Dinner. Our administrators and staff have agreed to dress as a known celebrity and serve as the wait staff for the evening as students, family, and community members enjoy their meals. The event will take place on December 6th, from 5:30 -8:00pm in the James H. Blake High School cafeteria. The funds raised at the event will be used to support our program which recognizes students for their academic achievements and staff members for their commitment to teaching.
Miss Maryland USA 2008 - CASANDRA TRESSLER and Miss Maryland Teen USA 2008 - ANA MARIA LAWSON will be present to meet and greet, sign autographs, or maybe serve a dinner or two!
Dinners are $10 Adults, $8 Students, which includes a salad, entree, dessert, and beverage.
