6th and 7th periods (Tentative)
Students who made the Honor Roll during the 2nd MP, increased their GPA from the 1st to 2nd MP by 0.5 or higher, or had Perfect Attendance for the 2nd MP are all invited to attend. Passes will be distributed the day of the event during 1st period classes.
Friday, February 13th
The All A’s Dinner was a huge success. Thanks to Mama Lucia’s of Olney, Riccuitti’s in Olney, The Olney Ale House, The Only Olney Flower Shop, Vie de France of Olney, Starbucks in Leisure World Plaza, The French Confection, and Pepsi Company in Briggs Chaney for their wonderful donations.
Renaissance will sponsor a breakfast for students who earn All A’s for the 1st marking period FREE OF CHARGE to recognize and honor the students’ OUTSTANDING ACCOMPLISHMENTS. The students are able to invite a parent and a teacher to join them for this meal.

Celebrity Dinner
Thursday, December 6th 5:30 -8pm
The Bengal Renaissance Program is hosting our 1st Annual Celebrity Waiter Dinner. Our administrators and staff have agreed to dress as a known celebrity and serve as the wait staff for the evening as students, family, and community members enjoy their meals. The event will take place on December 6th, from 5:30 -8:00pm in the James H. Blake High School cafeteria. The funds raised at the event will be used to support our program which recognizes students for their academic achievements and staff members for their commitment to teaching.
Miss Maryland USA 2008 - CASANDRA TRESSLER and Miss Maryland Teen USA 2008 - ANA MARIA LAWSON will be present to meet and greet, sign autographs, or maybe serve a dinner or two!
Dinners are $10 Adults, $8 Students, which includes a salad, entree, dessert, and beverage.
