PTA
The Bethesda PTA is a strong and active organization of parents and teachers working together on behalf of our children. All parents are welcome to join the PTA and to attend PTA meetings. The PTA helps fund many programs throughout the year such as cultural arts initiatives (assemblies, artist in residence, arts night), science fair and International night. Your contributions allow the purchase of classroom reading materials and other instructional materials; new books for the media center, the after school tutoring program and enhancements to our recess and PE programs. The PTA also provides each teacher with financial support to purchase additional educational supplies needed for their classrooms, and funds community building events such as the Back to School picnic and Dance night. Bethesda is a strong and vibrant school community thanks to the time and energy parents and guardians devote to the school. We hope you will join in the vital contributions of the PTA.
