Belmont Elementary School

I have been at Belmont for 28 years.  I graduated from the University of Virginia in the first graduating class that included women.  After graduation I initiated a speech and language program in Louisa County, VA.  There was no room in the schools to do speech therapy so I converted a very old school bus into two rooms and drove it from school to school.  I traveled 250 miles a week!  It was quite an adventure.  I have two children.
