| Hobbies: | Playing tennis, scrapbooking, watching sports and watching the Maryland Terps Win! | |
I
went to Union College in Schenectady, N.Y. I double majored in
music and women's studies with a minor in anthropology. During my
junior year in college, I taught in a one room school house in
Barbados. I started teaching in a Catholic school, then
kindergarten in a private school in Fairfax, VA. I then moved to
Maryland and taught kindergarten at Rosemary Hills Primary School, where
I met my husband, Ramzi. Ramzi was also teaching
kindergarten. I took a year away from Montgomery County and taught
in Baltimore City while earning my master's degree. I worked in
two other Montgomery County Public Schools before coming to
Belmont. I have taught grades K,1,2,4, and 5, including 4/5
and 1/2 combination classes. I enjoy learning about
education and continue to take classes during my free time. Ramzi
and I live in Carroll County with two cats. |
