School Management Team Notes/September 2006
Fifth grade is off to a great start. We are working on organizational skills. We write all of our assignments in our assignment notebook daily. Parents, please review the assignment book nightly and monitor your child’s homework. Homework is due on the due date. We are using cursive on all tests and papers that are handed in. Students need to continue to practice cursive at home. Having your supplies is important so that students can begin activities immediately and work within the given timeframe. We put all notices and graded papers in our “take home” folder daily. Please take out all papers on the “home” side and keep them. If you need to return a paper, please put it back in the folder for your child to hand in the next morning. Please continue to practice the multiplication facts with your child.
