Bridging the Gap 2017

Activities and links on this webpage are designed to help your child prepare for the upcoming school year.  Some of the activities are review from this past school year.  Other activities are meant to keep our students thinking, reading, writing, and problem solving.

While the activities are meant to be completed by students, we encourage parents to be actively involved in supporting children as they bridge the gap from June through the beginning of the school year.  Parents should discuss the activities with their children, allow students to explain why information is important, help students understand their mistakes, and encourage their children to complete a variety of activities throughout the summer.

We will periodically post additional activities or websites throughout the summer.  We welcome parent or child feedback at the conclusion of the summer.  While it is important to continue to think academically during the summer months, we also want to make sure all of our Dragons have a wonderful summer break!
