Welcome to our Kindergarten Registration Page!
From this page, you should be able to access all forms that you will need to complete in order to register your child for kindergarten for the 2018-19 school year. In order to register your child to attend Beall ES, s/he must be 5 years old by September 1, 2018, and must live within the school boundaries. Children who turn 5 years old between September 2 and October 15 are eligible to apply for Early Entrance to Kindergarten. Click here for more information about the process or to complete an application.
IMPORTANT- New boundaries have been established for the 2018-19 school year. Many Beall communities are being re-assigned to the new elementary school scheduled to open for the 2018-19 school year. You may use MCPS's School Locator Assignment Tool to confirm that you live in the Beall school district.
March 15- March 22 Registration- Parents are invited to submit all forms and required documentation during Registration Week. No appointment is necessary! Parents should bring documents directly to the main office beginning at 10:00 am until 4:30 pm. For your convenience, parents may drop off forms beginning at 7:30 am on Wednesday and Thursday. We will also stay open on Tuesday, March 20, until 7:30 pm to receive paperwork. We ask that you avoid arrival (8:30-9:30) and dismissal (3:00-3:45) times. It is helpful to have important documents copied prior to dropping off paperwork.
April 27 & April 30 Kindergarten Orientation (register below)- Kindergarten Orientation is an informal
introductory program developed for our incoming students. We want the children to have the opportunity
to meet the teachers and visit the classrooms for a few moments. We hope they will leave the orientation
program happy about their experiences and eager to attend school in the fall. Please sign your child up for only 1 session as spaces are limited. During Orientation, parents will have the opportunity to confirm registration paperwork is complete, meet with school health room staff to submit health forms and share any health related concerns, learn about PTA opportunities, and participate in a Q & A session. Current PTA members can volunteer here to support this event.
