GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS:
CHIPS Anyone with a talent in writing or art and would like to have your work published in the BCC award winning literary arts magazine, please submit to CHIPS in C215. Forms are also available on the website (Activities/Clubs/CHIPS).
PORTRAIT DATES HAVE BEEN CHANGED BY LIFETOUCH: Underclass portraits will now be Monday,Sept. 15 and Tuesday Sept. 16. Senior ID's will be taken on Friday, Sept. 19th. Make-up day is Oct. 29. Order forms will be distributed in English classes.
CLASS ANNOUNCEMENTS:
* Seniors: Class of “09” invites all seniors interested in designing class shirts to submit their ideas to Mr. Orlando in room C107.
* Junior Class: Class of 2010 will be having a meeting today Sept.5th at lunch in A412. All officers must attend this meeting to discuss Homecoming shirts and theme.

Anyone interested in Cross Country, please stop by C105 to see Mr. Young.
COLLEGE/CAREER NEWS:
College Tracks will meet Wednesday nights from 7:00 to 8:30PM at The Coffield Center. Also College Tracks for 2008-2009 will be held in the Career Center every Monday – Thursday during lunch and after school Tuesday from 2:15 – 4:00 PM.
COLLEGE VISITS
Monday September 8, 2008 will be the start of the College Representative Visiting Season at BCC. Any interested junior or senior must bring their handbook to the Career Center to sign up for these visits. The handbook must be signed and stamped by Ms. Feldsott and then signed by the teacher of the class they will be missing. They will be checked. The most up to date list of visits can be found on the Family Connection website. There are also paper lists posted in the Career Center. All sign ups must be done in person in the Career Center.

Every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 2:15 – 3:15
*TAP at the Coffield Center will be on Monday and Wednesday from 6:00 -7:30.
SCHOOL STORE:
The school store is located, across from the main office and down the hall, on the left. The store is now open after school every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 2:10 – 3:00 PM, selling delicious snacks, drinks, and BARON Merchandise! The store benefits the Sports Boosters which supports all sports. SEPTEMBER SPECIAL – Purchase Navy Blue BARONS shorts for $10.00.
SPECIAL CLUB ANNOUNCEMENTS:
ATMS Meeting for all 9th and 10th graders will take place on Monday Sept. 8th in room A224.
All recently announced clubs will always be posted on the bulletin board, outside the main office. The only time clubs will be announced, if it is for an event within the club, or the announcement of a new club New clubs will be announced on MONDAY’S ONLY. Please check the bulletin board for your club time and location.
All students interested in starting a club and participating in the annual activities fair must apply by 2:15 on September 12th. Applications may be picked up in Mr. Herchenroeder’s room, C207.
NOTE: Students who are expecting a delivery should check the pick-up desk in the main office between classes or during lunch. If you called someone to bring you homework, papers, books, clothes, lunch or other items, it is your responsibility to check the pick-up table. (Please call home from the main office. Do NOT use your cell phone during school hours.) *Items not picked up within a timely manner will be disposed of.
