The Registrar’s Office processes college applications for currently enrolled B-CC High School students. Information is available in the Counseling Office which outlines procedures for sending college applications. All necessary forms and information are available on this web site and in the Counseling Office. See Processing Your College Application for more information. To ensure that applications are postmarked to meet deadlines please submit requests 1-month before they are due. Please note that the first three transcripts are free for seniors. After that, the cost is $5 for each additional one.

 

School Registration

To enroll a new student at B-CC High School, first pick up a NEW STUDENT PACKET from the Main Office or the Counseling Office and then call the Registrar's Office at 240-497-6326 to schedule an appointment. The following documentation is needed for enrollment:

  • Proof of Residency in the B-CC High School area
    A utility bill PLUS one of the following
    1. Settlement Sheet
    2. Lease
    3. Tax Assessment Bill
     
  • Parent/Guardian  (driver’s license)
  • Student Birth Certificate/Passport
  • Student up-to-date immunization record

  • Student unofficial transcript from prior school
    including high school courses taken for credit-Grades 6-12 
  • Student Clearance/withdrawal form from the last school attended
    Needed if entering after the 1st day of the new semester.

    Students who have been attending school that is NOT accredited by the U.S. Accreditation Association must first schedule an appointment with the Residency and International Admissions Office at 301-230-0686.

Change of Address

To change the address of a student at B-CC High School, please call the Registrar at 240-497-6326, to schedule an appointment to have your proof of address copied and added to your child's records.

 

Withdrawal from School

To withdraw from B-CC High School, please call the Registrar at 240-497-6326, to schedule an appointment regarding withdrawal procedures.

Transcripts, Diploma, and Old School Records (Info for Alumni)

Transcripts 

The Office of Central Records has all past transcripts that are more than four years old. Each school keeps its records that are four years old or less. Then Central Records office receives the records during the summer when they are in the fifth year.

For example: During school year 2010-2011, B-CC has the records for Classes of 2010, 2009, 2008, and 2007. Records of Class of 2006 and from the beginning of time (MCPS time) are at Central Records. In the summer of 2011, B-CC will send the Class of 2007 records to Central Records and will retain those of 2008, 2007, 2010, and 2011 at the school.


The cost of a transcript is $5. To order transcripts from within the past four years, please download the Alumni Request for Transcripts form here, and submit the completed form, a regular office size envelope with postage, and a check (payable to B-CC High School) to:

Please note that students will not be able to get their class ranking because MCPS does not rank classes.

  

  

DRIVING PERMITS

MVA Learner's Permit Application for students 15 years and 9 months:

MVA form 
Students-remember to put your ID number on the MVA sheet. There is a 24-hour turn-around once you have dropped it off with Ms. Peebles in the Registrar's Office(A 204).

Diploma 

If you would like to order a new diploma, the cost is $25.00. You can do it through Central Records@ 301-320-7301.

Please note that orders can take a long while to process, depending on the time of year the request is made.
