College Advisory Committee ("CAC")

The CAC is a PTSA-sponsored committee that supports the B-CC Counseling Department and assists with programs related to the college application and admissions process. Programs for parents include "College Admissions Tests - ACT vs. SAT," "Financial Planning for College," "The College Application Process," and "The College Admission Officers Speak." Programs for students include practice SAT and ACT tests, together with informative results sessions.

The CAC also maintains and publishes the B-CC Guide to College and Career Planning, a useful informational guide available to students and parents. The Guide is distributed free of charge to all juniors in the spring of their junior year.
