Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School

The BCC Men’s Tennis Team has started out the 2011 season in excellent  
form with a 6-1 record under Coach Tim Marshall. With only two Seniors  
on the roster, Co-Captain Dan Cho and Jack Baer, the team has used  
strong performances at every position to achieve this outstanding  
record. Most recently, the Barons defeated Einstein 6-1 with Jonas  
Baker winning at #1, Andre Womer a victor at #2, Dan Cho on top at #4  
and Dai Onoguchi losing a tough tiebreaker at #3. Del Broadwater and  
Jordan Missal won big at #1 Doubles, with Mark Rebok and Blake  
McCarren taking the #2 match and Gabriel Zalles and Will Josephs on  
top at #3.



The team also defeated Sherwood 7-0 last week. Jonas Baker (#1),  
Andrew Womer (#2), and Dai Onoguchi  (#4) all were winners. Daniel  
Ruper outlasted his opponent at #3 in a tough match decided in a  
tiebreaker. The Doubles Teams of Coby Friedman and Paul Delancy (#1),  
Brad Gerber and Jack Baer (#2), and Del Broadwater and Jordan Missal  
(#3) all triumphed.
