Bio:
With an undergraduate degree in accounting (from Indiana
University of PA – hometown of Jimmy Stewart) Ms. Lyddane
spent the early part of her career in public accounting.
She also has an MBA from the University of Michigan and
worked in the corporate world before deciding to spend most
of the last 14 years home with her children. Currently,
she is teaching part-time at B-CC while working towards
her certification at Johns Hopkins University. She teaches
AP Statistics to seniors, and Algebra 2 to a class that
combines sophomores, juniors, and seniors.
Although she had not taught previously, Ms. Lyddane feels
quite at home, since both her father and brother are math
professors. Another brother, a Marine, is currently serving
in Iraq. Her daughter is a 9th grader at B-CC and her son
is in 7th grade at Westland. Outside of the classroom, Ms.
Lyddane loves to cook and play an energetic (albeit lousy)
game of tennis!
