Bio:
I was born on the beautiful Island of Barbados, which is
the most easterly island in the Caribbean Sea. I immigrated
to America in 1978 and settled in Brooklyn NY, where I grew
up. I went to Public Schools PS72K, IS 292 and George Westinghouse
Vocational and Technical H.S.
I graduated from the University of Hartford with a bachelors
in Electronic Engineering Technology in 1992 and from NY
Institute of Technology with a Masters in Instructional
Technology in 1996. My teaching career began in September
of 1993 as a full-time teacher at Rikers Island Educational
Facility in east Elmhurst, NY. After serving my time in
a correctional facility (just kidding) I moved to lovely
Maryland in March of 2000 to be with my wife who is now a Medical Nurse with the rank of 1st LT in the US Army.
I began teaching at B-CC in the fall of 2000. I have enjoyed
my time here immensely, and having the opportunity to work
in such a prestigious H.S has really enriched me personally.
I have three children: Aliyah-11, Sara-9, and Aaron-6.
