Directions: You will conduct research on Colonial America. Then, you will select some aspect of life during the colonial period, and you will use that information to rewrite a fairy tale.
Key Points to remember while researching:
- What was the clothing like during the Colonial period?
- What type of language was used during the Colonial period?
- What technology, if any, existed?
- What type of food did people eat?
- What did houses and other dwellings look like?
- What did the land look like, and how was it used?
- How was life during that period different than life today?
