- Dictionary.com: This site will be useful if you have no idea of where to start. The definition may give you an idea of other key words to use when searching the web
- House of Brigatta: This is a traditional dictionary. Use it to find the basic information on your artifact and then continue your research using other sources.
- Middle Ages Dictionary: Not a very extensive dictionary. However the site gives good background organized by categories and is worth exploring.
