The staff of Col. Zadok Magruder High School, a large public high school with deeply embedded traditions and a focus on the future, works together with our diverse students and their families to create a positive learning environment accessible to all students, where integrity and a sense of community are paramount. Through meaningful co-curricular activities, equitable support systems and rigorous instruction, we promote the development of literate, responsible, well-rounded members of society. About the Independent Activity Fund

Independent Activity Funds (IAF) are established to promote the general welfare, education, and morale of students, as well as to finance the recognized extracurricular activities of the student body. Audits are conducted to make sure the funds are being spent in compliance with MCPS policy and to offer suggestions for continuous improvement. IAF reports completed after January 1, 2012 are posted to this site.
