Business Executives and School Principals to Share Leadership Experiences during Executive Shadow Week

March 6, 2001
Executive Shadow Week, an opportunity for school principals and executives from businesses, non-profits, and government agencies in Montgomery County to share a typical workday, will take place from Wednesday, March 7, through Wednesday, March 14.

Shadow Week activities will culminate in a discussion among participants on Thursday, March 15, from 9:30 a.m.1:00 p.m. at the Bethesda Marriott Hotel.

The objectives of the shadowing experience are to help school and business leaders become more knowledgeable about each other's daily operation, culture, and customer needs; to identify ways to prepare students for the 21st century workforce; and to build partnerships to enhance the educational experience.

Executive Shadow Week is a cooperative venture of the Montgomery County Chamber Workforce Corporation, the Montgomery County Business Roundtable for Education, Leadership Montgomery, and Montgomery County Public Schools.
