Meetings Scheduled for Parents and Students to Explain Preferred Choice Options in the Northeast Consortium

A series of meetings in October will assist families with students in eighth grade who live in the Northeast Consortium to choose the high school they wish to attend for the 2001-2002 school year. The meetings will provide families with information needed to make a well- informed choice from among the three consortium high schools and their signature programs.

In addition, a special Preferred Choice information meeting will be held for ESOL families on Thursday, October 5, at 7:00 p.m. at the White Oak Middle School media center.

Open houses will be held at the three consortium high schools at the following dates and times. Parents and students in eighth grade are encouraged to take advantage of these opportunities to become better acquainted with the signature programs and high school facilities in the Northeast Consortium.

Springbrook High School - Information Technology in the Global Society

International Baccalaureate - November 9, 7:00 p.m.
