Media Advisory: Superintendent Starr to Hold Community Day Event on Jan. 14

Superintendent of Schools Joshua P. Starr will hold his third Community Day event of the school year on Monday, January 14, 2013, in the Clarksburg, Northwest, Quince Orchard and Seneca Valley clusters.

Dr. Starr will spend the day meeting with staff, visiting schools and hearing from parents. The Community Day will culminate with a Town Hall meeting at Seneca Valley High School, 19401 Crystal Rock Drive in Germantown from 7:30 to 9 p.m., where the public can ask questions and share thoughts and ideas.

Members of the media are invited to join Dr. Starr on his visit to Ronald McNair Elementary School, 13881 Hopkins Road in Germantown, from 10:15-11 a.m., and at the Town Hall meeting at Seneca Valley High School.

- Monday, March 11, 2013—
Blake, Paint Branch, Springbrook and Sherwood clusters

- Monday, April 8, 2013—Bethesda-Chevy Chase, Walter Johnson, and Walt Whitman clusters
