Second Annual Student Environmental Filmfest Scheduled at AFI Silver Theater on March 29

Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) is sponsoring the second annual Environmental Filmfest. The event will take place at the AFI Silver Theater on Thursday, March 29, at 10:00 a.m.

Fourteen students who participate in environmental science programs at either Poolesville or John F. Kennedy high schools will introduce their films, describe the creative experience, and answer audience questions after each film is shown. Seven films will be screened, including To Bee or Not To Bee; Food Footprint; Good Trash, Bad Trash; Three Days To See; Let’s Get Wasted; A Sock Opera; and El Salvador Project.
