March 16, 2005
Two finalists for student member of the Board of Education were chosen on March 15 by 279 voting middle and high school delegates attending the Student Member of the Board of Education Nominating Convention.

They are Sebastian Johnson, a junior at Montgomery Blair High School, and Nadia Sicard, a junior at John F. Kennedy High School. The finalists were chosen from a field of seven candidates at the convention hosted by Northwest High School's student government.

On Wednesday, April 27, all MCPS secondary students will have the opportunity to vote for one of the two candidates to serve as their 28th student representative on the Board.
