This
new publication describes a range of programs,
services, and
procedures in a concise and easily accessible
format that will
provide parents with the information and resources they need to support their
children’s education.
Among the many topics covered are enrollment, graduation requirements,
opportunities for parent involvement, instruction, specialized programs, school
safety and security, and services for students and parents. (See Contents
Preview.)
“Navigating the System” has been translated into Spanish, French,
Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese.
The
English version of “Navigating the System” has been mailed to
all families of Montgomery County Public Schools students. Additional copies
are available at individual schools or from the Public Information office by calling 301-279-3391.
