Every school and office as well as special programs and other MCPS entities may have a folder for content on the MCPS web server.
This hosting package includes:
- Folder on the web server
- FTP accounts providing authorized staff access to the folder
- Accounts for publishing tools or site utilities (upon request)
- Support for server side includes (SSI)
- Support for multimedia streaming (RealMedia)
- Security patches
- Virus checking
- File backups
- 24/7 monitoring of system
To receive access, a staffer must request his or her supervisor fill out a Webmaster
Account Request Form.

Web Services does not support executables, scripts, Java, ASP, Perl, PHP, or other such files and technologies
on the primary web server. Domain forwarding is not supported.
