Student Contribution Criteria
For the second year, we have a student category to recognize the contributions of students to their school's (or perhaps an office's) web communications. The student or team should be nominated by the teacher or webmaster supervising the student work. This category is not for personal student web sites or class work. Nominees are recognized for contributing to the larger communications goals of their school.
Student or team of students can be nominated who:
- Maintain an MCPS school or office web site on a regular basis.
- Created an MCPS site design, designed a smaller site on a larger MCPS site, or created major improvements to an existing MCPS site design.
- Programmed a web application to improve an MCPS site's use of data and functionality.
- Used multimedia such as Flash or streaming media to improve user experience on an MCPS site.
