Best of Web Awards

Best of the Web Awards: 2008

Purpose

The Best of the Web Awards recognizes the best web sites created and maintained by MCPS webmasters and presents them as models of best practices in web communications. The ideal MCPS web site is useful, informative, and easy to use. It is not necessarily the most visually sophisticated or technically advanced.

“Ultimately, users visit your web site for its content. Everything else is just the backdrop. The design is there to allow people to access the content.” —Jakob Nielsen, web usability expert
