The Perkins Brailler

This is a braille typewriter. It has one key for each of the six braille dots. It also has a space key (in the middle), a backspace key (on the right) and a line space key (on the left). Braille is produced by pressing different combinations of those keys.

It was developed in 1951 by David Abraham, a woodworking teacher at Perkins School for the Blind.
