Nikki has been a teacher of the visually impaired for the past eight years. She has worked in a variety of capacity during her experience self contained, itinerant and multi-county.

Currently she serves as a Educational Vision Specialist, Assistive Technology Specialist, Early Childhood Specialist and Orientation and Mobility Specialist.

She completed her MA in Special Education, Severe Needs: Vision and Orientation and Mobility from the University of Northern Colorado.

Outside of her passion for working with individuals with visual impairemnts, Nikki enjoys exploring historical landmarks, shopping and dinning in the numerous establishments that are found in DC.
