Vision Program

Minimum System Requirements for JAWS on Windows 95 or 98 listed by Freedom Scientific.


• Processor Speed 133 Mhz.
• RAM 32 mb.
• Hard Disk Space 50 mb available.
• Video Super VGA (256 color).
• Sound 16 bit or higher sound card.

Tasks and software that the MCPS Vision Program supports.

To use JAWS with the internet:

• browser: Internet Explorer v. 5 or higher
• internet connection by anything except AOL; AOL does work but it is more difficult and cumbersome
• local recommendations that I know work:
Erols
AT&T
Comcast cable (more expensive but faster connection)

To receive and send email via internet:
