Welcome to the
Telecommunications Services
Unit. We are part of the Office
of Strategic Technologies and Accountability under
the Division
of Field Operations. We are responsible
for the telecommunications services — for
hardware repair and maintenance and for the
design of telephony for MCPS.
Mission Statement:
As the leader in voice
communications in the division of Field
Operations, the Telecommunications Services
unit provides the knowledge and experience
to channel communication transmissions
toward a seamless environment that offers
quality and reliability. Simplifying
the number of devices or communication
paths is essential to improve cost effectiveness
and accessibility. These are the essential
requirements to provide a compression
of the types of devices needed for understanding
and comprehending global knowledge. Although
Telecommunications Services does not
impart knowledge directly to students,
nevertheless, its mission is to serve
as the major communications resource
to those who do. |
