| Description |
MAP-R is a computer-adaptive achievement test that quickly provides an assessment of a student's skill level in the different reading achievement areas. Elementary students will take the assessment three times a year in 2005-06. Middle school students will take the assessment twice in 2006 and then three times in following years. These multiple assessments will allow educators to measure academic growth in reading over time. MAP-R scores will be available in IMS, along with more in-depth, web-based reports available for teachers and administrators on the NWEA MAP-R website. |
