ABOUT THE CENTER FOR TECHNOLOGY INNOVATION

The Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) Center for Technology Innovation (CTI) is an innovative, state-of-the-art technology training facility centrally located in Rockville, Maryland. It’s conveniently located off Shady Grove Road, less than a mile north off of I-270. Parking is available for 120 visitors. This 14,000+ square foot, modernized space, located off Shady Grove Road, is the first major MCPS facility to offer comprehensive, centralized training to school- and non-school-based staff to support all MCPS technology programs and initiatives.

The CTI is a one-stop location for MCPS technology training. Training programs such as the MCPS Instructional Management System, Technology Modernization Program, automated assessments, and more take place recurrently. The CTI houses four high-tech labs, two ultramodern classrooms, a revolutionary videoconferencing center, a conference room, and a cybercafé. Approximately 30 MCPS technology consultants/trainers are staffed at the CTI.
