The goal of the Maryland Online Technology Assessment for Teachers and Administrators Grant is to develop an online technology assessment for teachers. The assessment is designed to measure the technology competency of teachers based on the Maryland Teacher Technology Standards (MTTS). The assessment contains items that measure a teacher's proficiency on the MTTS. The assessment will be delivered online and scored electronically.
Each participating county has received funds to design activities to support the grant and align with local school system initiatives. Montgomery County Public School's grant activities reinforce county initiatives and align with the Office of Global Access' vision. Grant activities include:
- Developing and disseminating print materials to schools to inform staff about the MTTS
