Spring Forums

Superintendent Joshua P. Starr has held four forums this spring around topics of importance to MCPS. These four forums—on English language learners, gifted education, special education, and social and emotional learning—have been attended by more than 1,250 parents, staff and community members. The spring forums provided an opportunity for the community to hear about the latest trends and research, find out what is happening in our schools and share thoughts with Dr. Starr and guest panelists.
