How to Apply

This honors course is a program for academically elite students who want the opportunity to participate in leadership training and executive level work experience. Students function as a member of a professional team in a local place of business by serving as an executive intern. The internship allows the student to apply leadership skills and learn from real-world experiences.

Students are allowed to register for 3-4 classes at their home school and spend the afternoons at an internship site. Eligibility for this rewarding and competitive program includes:

  • 16th birthday by July 1 of application year;
  • Senior by July 1 of application year;
  • Minimum GPA of 3.5;
  • Completed graduation requirements with the exception of English and Mathematics;
  • Demonstrated leadership ability in school or the community
  • Two letters of recommendation

The deadline for receipt of applications is
March 15, 2008.
