School counseling services are provided
at each elementary, middle and high school within MCPS
and are supported by the School Counseling, Residency and International Admissions (SCRIA) staff located in the Rocking Horse Road
Center.
Professional school counselors are leaders who advocate,
collaborate, and facilitate individual and system change
to ensure every student has the knowledge and skills
necessary for academic success and personal growth.
The Comprehensive School Counseling Program:
