All
students attending the General Assembly need to bring

number is not accepted at other schools. Students on
free or reduced lunch should arrange for a bag lunch
from their own school prior to the general assembly.
The host school will provide a light morning refreshment.
It is important that school register the number of students
attending and the number of students buying lunch so
the host school may prepare.

the original on file at the school. This is a MCPS approved
field trip.

Students wishing to present legislation
at General Assembly should complete (using a black pen)
and bring the (PDF
file) to the meeting and turn it into the MCJC Advisor
upon arriving at the host school. This allows a transparency
to be made ahead of time so the legislation can be projected
for all students to see as it is discussed.
Schools are asked to submit a school report to be included
in a MCJC newsletter at the end of each semester. This
is a great resource for new ideas and to share the great
things that are happening at your school!

the discussion of legislation, follow the Parliamentary
